Important results from the project
The goal - as stated in the application - is a continuing project based on the feasibility study´s results that can be a resource and a venue for spreading facts, inspiration and conversation in which consortium stakeholders can participate. Where the aim is to ensure continuous strategic height in all PiiAs activities.
Expected long term effects
Strategic activities for Piia to promote the innovation program and increase the industry´s capacity to adopt new technologies and translate it into business value. We believe managerial commitment is essential for that to happen. On the other hand to contribute to PiiAs development Projects, the professionalism and to secure the projects potential for commercial success.
Approach and implementation
The first step in the study is based on a larger number of calls with people in the industry and other relevant organizations. In the second step literature studies has been accomplished, where global credentials have been assessed and factored into. Studies has been made of technical articles, reports and market studies and studies involving skills and organization. The third step in the process has been to shorten the number of critical factors and prioritize those that can cause the most impact when it comes to Industrial IT and automation technology for commercial competitiveness.
