Purpose and goal
Over the past five years the NVC has begun to work with world class athletes, initially focusing exclusively on providing products and services. As we have tried different approaches and methods to involve the lead users in R & D at the NVC, which in our case are often ´world class athletes´ and coaches, our interest in this developmental approach has increased. This has elevated our interest in working further towards developing a structured model for the lead users within the centre.
