Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The objective project is to i) establish international competitiveness research, ii) strengthen the interaction between researchers and the financial market, and iii) improve the supply of expertise to the financial sector. The quality of research has improved significantly during the period, as shown by publications in recent years in the best international magazines. As a direct result of the event center arranged, there is now research collaboration between the center members many companies and authorities.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The research environment, the quality of the education and the collaboration with the business community have all improved during the project period. These are largely lasting improvements even when the project ends. The center will remain and work with business contacts for research collaboration and corporate involvement in teaching. Furthermore, companies in the region, especially smaller fin-tech companies, have experienced the cooperation and the conferences / workshops we have arranged as very positive.
Approach and implementation
In the second stage, the focus area "household finance" was added. This area has been prioritized by the center, among other things by funding research in an assistant lectureship and by giving a recurring research course in household finance. The center has also organized a large number of internship seminars. During 2017-2020, several international scientific conferences have been organized and an on-line course in personal finance specifically aimed at foreign-born people has been launched.
