Call Collaborations with the US in AI, digital infrastructure and cyber security

Important results from the project

The project followed the planned three‑phase structure: preparation, U.S. presence and follow‑up. Activities included partner mapping, meetings and workshops around NVIDIA GTC, and subsequent consolidation into a defined pilot and U.S. establishment plan. The schedule was largely kept and minor adjustments were handled within the project. Collaboration with U.S. partners and Business Sweden worked as intended and created a strong basis for continued joint activities.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to ultimately provide up to 30 percent higher resource efficiency in CNC production through reduced breakdowns, more stable quality and less scrap. By establishing itself in the US, Swedish industrial AI is scaled to the world´s largest CNC market, which extends machine life, reduces climate impact and strengthens the competitiveness of both Swedish and American companies in global value chains.

Approach and implementation

The project followed the planned structure with three work packages: preparations, presence in the US and follow-up. The activities included partner mapping, a series of meetings and workshops around NVIDIA GTC, and follow-up work with pilot definition and establishment plan. The schedule was generally kept well and minor adjustments were handled within the framework of the project.
