Purpose and goal
AlgoDx develops Software as Medical Device products. A viable IP action plan is needed to enable the company to compete in an international market. The IP check has helped ensure that the company creates, retains and protects IP in an agile R&D environment. The aims of the project are fulfilled.
Expected results and effects
The development of an IP strategy constitutes a significant part of the company´s development. According to our judgement the developed strategy will set the basis for the company´s possibilities to successfully market products within a few years. The company plans to continously retain a solid IP strategy, based on the strategy developed within this project. IP will be a significant part of the company´s development with an increased value creation as a result.
Planned approach and implementation
The project was performed in cooperation with the IP firm Ström & Gulliksson. The present situation at AlgoDx with regards to identification and ownership of IP has been charted, a review of the competition landscape has been performed, and an IP strategy has been developed.
