Internationalization Grant for PDAC 2026

Purpose and goal

The Canadian mining market offers opportunities for leading Swedish innovations. At the same time, there are obstacles for less innovative companies to establish the right contacts and introduce their unique solutions. In order to successfully further develop our strategy, it is crucial that we continue to engage in the local market by participating in industry fairs, meeting decision-makers, deepening our understanding of local regulations for piping systems and strengthening our brand.

Expected effects and result

The project strengthens Alvenius’ expansion into the Canadian mining market by leveraging grant support to participate in a leading mining conference. This will be our fifth business development trip to Canada and demonstrates our long-term commitment to partnerships and brand building in this priority market. The conference provides a strategic platform to meet industry leaders, distributors and innovation networks and accelerates the establishment of a lasting presence in Canada.

Planned approach and implementation

I will start with internal workshops to set objectives for 2026, map stakeholders and coordinate existing contacts in Canada. I will then attend the PDAC mining conference to meet relevant stakeholders in the mining industry and ask for opportunities to present our piping solutions. After the trip, we will evaluate the results, analyze business potential and develop a new market strategy for long-term establishment.
