Purpose and goal
The project aims to provide Sweden and Swedish industry as well as universities (in and outside Sweden) with advanced competence in the production area. Produktion2030´s instrument education continues to drive and further develop the graduate school where new and existing courses continue to respond to the industry´s long-term challenges. The graduate school is open both to industrial and to traditional academic students.
Expected effects and result
Results: -At least 30 courses -At least 50 course rounds -At least 100 new members -At least 1750 credits examined Effects (2-5 years): -Continued coordination of research school within the production area -Continuous inventory of skills gap between needs and existing courses -New courses developed to fill skill gaps -More people at postgraduate level in the production area Effects (5-12 years): -Increased mobility between academia/industry -Increased access to competence in the production area -More invest in sustainable production in Sweden
Planned approach and implementation
The project is coordinated through Halmstad University. A reference group with representatives from the Swedish Production Academy supports coordination and quality assurance and collects gaps between needs and current courses. Graduate students are represented by the chairman of the Swedish Production Academy´s student network. The graduate school follows a quality assurance process, anchored through the reference group and approved by the Produktion2030´s responsible for the instrument education, to ensure and further develop the quality of the courses offered.
