Purpose and goal
Innovation is of great importance to both quality and resource efficiency in our future health care. Significant resources are spent on developing new products and solutions. A less focused aspect is the uptake of innovations in the healthcare system. We have inthis project focused on uptake of innovation in health care, by following projects on new compensation systems.
Results and expected effects
A first result is a developed framework for analysis of uptake and obstacles when introducing new solutions in healthcare. A final report was compiled, where the recurrent obstacles are discussed and the need for changes highlighted. Based on this, recommendations are given for the increased uptake of innovations in health care.
Approach and implementation
The approach has consisted of: Monitor attempts to introduce new compensation systems and working methods. Document the obstacles to implementation and how they are managed. Identify what is required to succeed / what needs and can be fixed in every case. The analytical work is to: Using a framework for thematically sort the found obstacles. Compile and make recommendations regarding improved responsiveness; local and general level
