Important results from the project
The aim of this project was to create a network for senior coaches and leaders in the field of quality improvement in clinical settings. The aim of the network is to enhance collective learning and to create conditions for sharing experiences and development. We also want to inspire improvement in creating better health as well as innovative care. Furthermore, we want to help create so called network nodes, which can contribute to the activities and success of the network by engaging the participating organizations more thoroughly.
Expected long term effects
The network has given the participants a chance to develop their competencies, get support by experts, share experiences and to disseminate results. The anticipated results were an enhanced ability to do improvement work and lead innovations as well as improve competencies of the participants and abilities to develop their care processes and management models. According to gathered data, the network works as a support for the participants in maintaining and developing competencies and contacts. The work models and content of the events has met the participants needs.
Approach and implementation
During the year, the group has had the possibility to give us input on the planned and performed activities. Initially, we did an analysis on the needs in the group. This activity added great value to the network. We have consciously involved the participants of the network in planning activities in order to drive the work of the network together. Involvement in the project has given them a sense of deeper engagement and responsibility for the future of the network. Engagement and openness in sharing reflections is meaningful for them and also a key strength for the network as a group.
