Important results from the project
The project has contributed to increased excellence for SMEs by the production arenas having carried out two calls within SMF Flyg and thereby supporting SMEs in more than 30 national research applications. A total of 16 “SMF Flyg” projects were approved through the program, of which 5 of them were the new level 3 projects.
Expected long term effects
Effects of the project were achieved in the form of an increased participation of new SMEs in SMF Flyg-projekt (16 projects in total). In these, about 13 completely new SMEs participated (ie SMEs that had not applied to SMF Flyg before). In about 8 of the projects, OEMs were involved, which further strengthens SMEs in their business opportunities. The project has contributed to new contacts with British and Swiss SME´s and OEM´s through the project as Eureka SMART MINDESTRESS and close cooperation between the RISE and National Manufacturing Institute Scotland.
Approach and implementation
The project administered two call rounds for SMF Flyg with a total of almost 30 applications, supported SMEs in some national applications and an international proposal within the Eureka SMART program.
