Purpose and goal

The theme of InfraAwards 2025 is in the area of sustainable transport systems. The aim is to find innovative solutions that use digital technology to contribute to a more sustainable transport system. The objective of the project is to carry out the innovation competition and to appoint a winning proposal, which is then given the opportunity to apply for funding for further development towards implementation.

Expected effects and result

The project´s expected results is a well-executed innovation competition with adesignated winner. InfraSweden´s innovation competitions contribute to the program´s ambitions and goals, by speeding up the process for creating innovative solutions, stimulating creativity and innovative thinking, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Innovation competitions also contribute to the overall innovative capacity, competitiveness and attractiveness of the transport infrastructure sector.

Planned approach and implementation

InfraAwrads 2025 will be carried out in collaboration with SIP Drive Sweden, which focuses on using digital technology to address the sustainability challenges of the transport system. The project team determines target groups and marketing channels as well as assessment criteria. The winner is selected based on assessment criteria by an external assessment group. The winner will be announced at en event, and will have the opportunity to apply for project funding for further development.
