Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the project is for LEAD to provide as effective support as possible to the ideas and entrepreneurs who need help in their company journey. By participating in our programme, you get support in growing your idea faster and more securely and you get great access to a wide network of contacts for both expertise and capital.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The reworking of LEAD´s processes and the creation of the pre-incubation program BootUp has led to more people getting the chance to test print their idea. During the years 2016 - 2020, LEAD evaluated over 370 ideas, of which 55 were accepted for incubation. Of these, we have made a positive exit on 21 companies. LEAD´s portfolio of 171 companies and alumni had sales of just over SEK 930 million in 2019 and 680 employees. We see this outcome as part of the results that the project contribution provides.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Throughout the project, LEAD has worked focused on building on the structural capital it already had. LEAD today has well-developed processes and routines with methods and tools for implementing business development as quickly and safely as possible. In 2020, we worked to include the issue of sustainability in all stages of business development. Good structure together with very experienced business coaches means that we have created a fantastic environment and good conditions for the ideas that will grow into scaling companies.
