Purpose and goal
The purpose was to get more municipalities to use the Trelleborg model as it contributes to social development and focuses on the citizen´s self-sufficiency which has a positive impact on the economy. The purpose has also been to test for Vinnova and SKL if this model can be used as a transferable implementation- and dissemination model. To participating municipalities the aim has been to launch its production facilities at the end of the project. The model, as a implementation- and dissemination model, should be tested and evaluated for future initiatives by SKL and Vinnova.
Expected results and effects
The result of implementing the development program has been that participating municipalities have created opportunities for actual progress in their implementation work, both in terms of approaches, perspectives and principles, as well as effective measuring devices, methods and processes. The model is therefore transferable and adaptive from these tools as well as the construction of a structure of support. The effect contributes to social development and focuses on the citizen´s self-sufficiency which has a positive impact on the economy.
Planned approach and implementation
The implementation consisted of systematic work with six meetings for reflection and adaption of Trelleborg´s processes, methods, values and principles. In parallel with reflection meetings, follow-up research has been linked to ensure measurability in the progress. Indicators to measure were developed by the respective municipality based on the desired future situation and expected results. Trelleborg has served as a support structure; in between via Skype lessons, phone and auscultation. Follow-up and monitoring of progress was based on a specific reporting model.
