Funding from Vinnova SEK 8 750 000
Project duration June 2016 - February 2021
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of our verification funds has been to provide financing through an internal process as a contribution to incubator companies´ costs for verification projects. The goal of the verification projects granted by the incubator has been that, in synergy with our ordinary incubator process, they should have contributed to a faster development of the companies.

Expected results and effects

All funds were paid out. 72 companies received funding. Through the approved verification funds, we expected that the incubator companies could verify market potential and new technical solutions earlier and in more detail, as well as be able to relieve the incubator companies´ own resources for other business development processes and get better answers on how to take the idea to market.

Planned approach and implementation

The incubator companies have, in consultation with business developers, developed a suitable verification project in accordance with Vinnova´s conditions for verification funds, as well as with the conditions the incubator imposes on the verification projects. Each project has been evaluated and approved / rejected weekly at the incubator´s internal decision meeting based on how relevant and reasonable the verification project is in relation to where the company is in its business development process. Granted verification projects report back achieved results and effects.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
