HMI for Distributed Decision-Making

Purpose and goal

The project has studied distributed decision-making for advanced decision support for tactical air unit cooperation in future aircraft platforms. The project has contributed to state-of-the-art with several research publications. The project has been driven by research questions within the domain of fighter aircraft and contributed to aeronautical competence.

Expected results and effects

The project has created new/extended relations within the project between HiS and industry as well as between the projects in the cluster. Together with the other projects in the cluster the project has provided cross disciplinary research contributions. The project has developed existing research collaborations from former NFFP-programs between Saab Aeronautics and HiS. The project has performed research motivated from user needs in cooperation between university and industry and provided contributions on technology as well as methodology.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has executed work packages sequentially, except project management. The project was performing the following phases: Preparation, Definition, Concept, Development and testing and evaluation. Also, thesis work was performed.
