Purpose and goal
This project aims to finalize the innovation of a vehicle for road side area maintenance. The aim is that maintenance of road side areas including renewal of road fences can be carried out from the road side. The primary advantage is reduced risks for accidents in connection to road works. Work performance from road side areas is calculated to reduce the number of accidents connected to road work with > 20 % which for Sweden is equal to saving at least 1 persons life each year, reducing the number of severe traffic accidents with about 90 and less severe accidents with about 400.
