Status Completed

Important results from the project

The aim of the project was to coordinate and write an H2020 proposal within the SPIRE programme for the call CE-SPIRE-07-2020: Preserving fresh water. The proposal had a significant focus on the mining industry, including many participants from the swedish mining cluster. The goal was achieved by submitting the proposal on February 5, 2020 and we can see that an increased collaboration was achieved between partners in the Swedish mining industry.

Expected long term effects

The expected result of the project is to have more Swedish-coordinated EU projects and therefore give Sweden more influence on the European market and strengthen the Swedish mining industry in an international perspective.

Approach and implementation

The writing of the proposal was divided into several steps. When the idea had been shaped initially we arranged a stakeholder meeting in collaboration with SIP STRIM in Luleå to find out what the problem owners want to achieve from this project. Thereafter, an intensive phase began with an iterative writing process where feedback from project partners was collected on numerous occasions to generate the best possible proposal.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
