Purpose and goal
In Örebro County, there are challenges related to children´s mental health, sense of hope for the future, and school performance. Organizational and sectoral boundaries hinder a holistic approach and limit the ability to implement effective promotional and preventive efforts. GROWTH aims to test different ways to bridge these boundaries. The goal is to foster shared learning and take the next step toward more promotional and preventive efforts for children and young people.
Expected effects and result
The expected outcome of GROWTH is to provide a clear understanding of how a transition to promotional and preventive efforts for children and young people can be realized, what changes can be anticipated, and to formulate a clear proposal for the next steps. The long-term goal is to establish promotional and preventive efforts for children, young people, and their parents, with a focus on reaching those with the greatest needs.
Planned approach and implementation
Within the framework of GROWTH, three small-scale pilots are being conducted: 1. Testing a Prevention Palette as an analytical framework for system mapping in three municipalities. 2. Learning labs focused on governance, system innovation and mission-based work. 3. Preparing for scaling and dissemination through web-based tools for learning and collaboration.
