Important results from the project
For a company interested in graphene, it is still a challenge to get an overview of global graphene suppliers as well as their profiles. To fill the gap, SIO Grafen has developed a web-based Suppliers Guide for graphene and other 2D materials. In the Suppliers Guide it´s possible to search for suppliers of a certain type of graphene or 2D material. The Suppliers Guide is integrated in SIO Grafens webpage.
Expected long term effects
The project contributes to several of the impact goals of SIO Grafen, especially “The ecosystem has a high international attractiveness and visibility” and “New knowledge is created and disseminated in the ecosystem”. For the potential graphene user, the web-based Suppliers Guide will provide a better overview of commercially available graphene and other 2D materials.
Approach and implementation
The project included the development of a framework including a web interface as well as the collection of data from graphene suppliers. Collection of data to further develop the Suppliers Guide will continue after the project, as part of the program office of SIO Grafen.
