The project has resulted in tjhe both universities today have professionalised their work regarding exploitation, as well as a developed interaction between the different players in the innovation system. A number of tools, processes and methods on how universities and other actors working with utilisation has been developed and implemented.

Approach and implementation

The foundation for Stage 3 was the strong cooperation developed within the universities´ innovation support systems, not least the ability that currently exists in the handling of intellectual assets. Stage 3 has focused on development where actors in the innovation support systems conduct activities with other parts of the universities. These activities have, for example been about how the university collaboration becomes an established part of the daily work of the research groups, and specific development and implementation of tools and methodologies.
