Venture Cluster of Excellence for Cutting-Edge Technologies - calls for proposals
Call Visions for world-leading research and innovation in strategic technology areas

Purpose and goal

The purpose of this project is to create a report that includes a detailed plan to create a world-leading excellence cluster that drives swedish research into the swedish and international Gaming industry. Our goal is find existing strengths and weaknesses within the project partners and collaborators to take advantage of existing strengths, and find new partners and collaborators to eliminate weaknesses and create a plan for a world-leading excellence cluster.

Expected effects and result

We expect the project to result in a report that details the synergies between researchers and the gaming industry that enable the creation of AI tools and associate startup companies. The report will include more collaborators to expand the reach of the planned excellence cluster, and increase it´s impact. The report will include the potential international visibility of the excellence cluster as described by top tier gaming industry research lab endorsements.

Planned approach and implementation

Our approach is to work collaboratively on the report through weekly meetings, and three in-person workshops. We will decide on the most important components of the proposal through open discussion involving the partners, and an industry advisory panel. We will focus on detailing in the report how these components will be realized, and the results and effects that the excellence cluster will have on swedish industry.
