Important results from the project

The project has built an international consortium and prepared an application to Eureka/Eurostars for the further development of Imvi Pro – a medical training for binocular vision rehabilitation. Imvi Pro has been fully developed and registered under MDR Class I. The project has laid the foundation for international studies and expanded to include stroke, concussion, and post-infectious conditions.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to improve rehabilitation for stroke, concussion, and post-infectious conditions by making binocular vision training more accessible and research-based. It strengthens Swedish medtech internationally and creates opportunities for new collaborations, clinical studies, and future export of innovative rehabilitation solutions.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out according to plan with adjusted priorities. To meet the requirements from research partners, full MDR registration was completed already in this phase, strengthening the foundation for upcoming studies. Pilot studies must now be conducted before an application can be developed. Experiences from the launch of Imvi Read in Norway have provided valuable market insights. The consortium has been strengthened and expanded ahead of the next international phase.
