Important results from the project
The project develops the region´s helathcare in collaboration with companies. The goal is to spread knowledge and experiences on how healthcare can be improved through company collaborations. The project has created and documented a method for operating cross-collaboration in the aim to identify health care needs. We also created two structures, one for idea management and one for corporate partnerships, enabeling the needs of healthcare to be matched with company solutions. Both are established in the region. Knowledge and experience from the project are nationally spread
Expected long term effects
Innovationsjakten has been tested and carried out in the County council of Uppsala and also spread to another region and municipality. Innovation nodes in primary care have been implemented and disseminated in and outside the County council of Uppsala. The experiences from the projects have contributed to two RPB assignments, partly the implementation of ideas throughout Region Uppsala and a new business process where a survey will be carried out with the aim of highlighting the region´s opportunities for better collaborations between healthcare and companies.
Approach and implementation
Challenges during the pandemic led to Innovationsjakten being developed and adapted to be carried out completely digitally. The two approaches differ in some respects. Due to the pandemic Innovationsnoder had to change and conducted meetings with companies digitally. The pandemic also contributed to fewer companies being offered meetings with the health centers as these have been burdened with new tasks
