Feeling of security with animals in elderly care

Purpose and goal

Dogs in the elderly care is increasing. There is an increasing number of employees who bring their dogs, which are often not trained for this purpose. The project will undertake a survey of the use of dogs and cats in the elderlylivings and will give an overview of the needs for education in the field. A controlstudy will be directly connected to the research study conducted with support from the Knowledge Foundation. The same livings as before and the scientists involved.
