Feasibility study to develop a digital and intelligent format for legal contracts

Purpose and goal

In this study the technology and market aspects of a new intelligent format for legal contracts have been investigated, and a list of suitable applications of such a format has been presented.

Results and expected effects

This study has concluded that it is, initially, more important to focus on concrete applications of intelligent contract formats rather than the technical structure.

Approach and implementation

This study has been conducted in a number of work packages where already existing research has been mapped out and three contract types have been further analysed. Focus has been on identifying what can be parametrisized and what value such parametrisation will bring to the market.
