Purpose and goal
The goal was to further establish the conference as one of the most important and interesting ones on the topic of fashion and technology. As well as highlighting Stockholm as the most creative and tech driven city in Europe. We gathered business leaders, scientists and innovators from some of the world’s foremost fashion and tech companies, universities and innovative startups under the same roof to discuss how the rapid technological development dispute, change and improve the global fashion industry, to disseminate insight and knowledge and to foster innovation in the fields.
Expected results and effects
The conference provides Stockholm with a leading international arena for innovators in the fields of fashion and technology and it fosters cross-border ideas, opportunities and collaborations which we saw some great results of this year with the amazing collaborations like HoloMe x Monki and Microsoft x London College of Fashion. Since the launch in 2017 our focus has been innovation in the intersection of fashion and technology. The PR value for the conference was 14 391 257 SEK with a total reach of 19 734 676.
Planned approach and implementation
The full day conference consisted of lectures, interviews and panel discussions on the topics of fashion and technology divided ingot four segments: Creativity, Design and Manufacturing of the Future, The Evolutions of the Fashion System, The Changing Retail Environment and Media, Marketing and Mixed Reality. Speakers were flown in a day prior to the conference for rehearsal and welcome dinner. The conference where followed by a networking cocktail for speakers, guests of the conference and personally invited opinion makers within the industries.
