Important results from the project
The project achieved all initial goals. Its purpose was to prepare a strong proposal for the European Space Agency (ESA) ARTES 4.0 call for a Demonstration Project. Collaboration with national and international public organizations, the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) resulted in a strong consortium, detailed technical plans for demonstration, and a foundation for future ESA-funded development.
Expected long term effects
The project’s long-term impact is to accelerate the adoption of satellite-based digital twins for monitoring critical infrastructure. Through collaboration with the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA) and the European Space Agency (ESA), the results are expected to enhance safety, sustainability, and resilience in transportation infrastructure in Sweden and internationally.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out according to plan, and all scheduled activities were completed within the timeframe. Work was structured in four work packages (WP1–WP4), covering coordination, demonstration planning, and proposal development. Collaboration with national and international partners worked well, and no major deviations or delays occurred during the project period.
