Purpose and goal
Through the project we have been able to further develop Atrinova´s incubator process and also the model for spin-offs. We have thus been able to continue to support our entrepreneurs and companies with even better quality through the exchange of experience with other strong innovation environments. We have been able to be a part of the development of the innovation system in the region and by inspiring entrepreneurship contributed to the creation of new jobs. Through collaboration and exchange of experience with other incubators we have been able to create growth in the region.
Expected results and effects
In the period 2017-01-01 - 2017-11-30, 45 ideas have been evaluated in the incubatorprocess. We are currently also working with 2 spinoff -rojects that are linked to SKB´s research and technology enviroment. At the end date of this report, there are 4 projects in the preincubator process and 6 projects in the incubator process. In addition, we are working with 4 demonstration sites within energy and environmental technology and 8 projects that comes from existing companies. The focus is on high-tech projects.
Planned approach and implementation
Through networking and exchange of experience with other incubators, we have been able to develop Atrinova´s incubator process further. We have continued to support innovators and entrepreneurs through coaching, expert advice, contacts with capital, offering an attractive and creative growth environment and office space, as well as allowing innovators and entrepreneurs to share our network. We are continuing to work with the development of the research and innovation infrastructure at SKB´s research facilities at Äspö.
