Important results from the project

Atrinova´s main task is to create growth and contribute to the development of the innovation system in the region, inspire innovation, entrepreneurship and contribute to creation of new jobs. In order to be able to give high quality in the offer, collaboration and exchange of experience with other strong innovation environments has / is a crucial role. The aim of the project was to develop the incubator´s processes, benefit from experiences from other incubators and increase collaboration with others, which has given good results with new valuable contacts and developed processes.

Expected long term effects

By participating in the project, Atrinova has been able to contribute to the development of the innovation system in the region, inspired by entrepreneurship and innovation. We have also seen results from the commercialization of research results, through, among other things, our close collaboration with universities / colleges and Oskarshamn´s nuclear power plant. By actively working to support new entrepreneurs, we can also see an increase in the number of new companies starting in the region.

Approach and implementation

Through networking and exchange of experience with other incubators been able to further develop Atrinova´s process and work with spin-off. The incubator has continued to support innovators and entrepreneurs. We have participated in the project on the development of a research and innovation environment around the unique environment at SKB´s research facility on Äspö. We are active in the conversion and business development work at Oskarshamn´s nuclear power plant in the ongoing decommissioning of two reactors and support innovation and business development projects there.
