Important results from the project

The project has strengthened support for startups with growth potential in Kronoberg. Through a systematic approach, new training programs and indepth business development, the incubator has offered more targeted support. Kick Capital has been established and enabled new investments in startups. The project has laid the foundation for a more professional, sustainable and a incubator operation that strengthens the innovation system and contributes to more growing companies.

Expected long term effects

By raising the quality of support for startups and creating a more professional and systematic incubator. A scalable methodology has been established, while Kick Capital strengthen the capital supply. Innovation competitions, training programs and increased visibility contribute to more ideas with a high level of innovation. Deeper collaborations, improved routines and integrated sustainability provide the foundation for more growth companies and a stronger innovation environment

Approach and implementation

The project has been implemented according to plan and built on individual business development, training efforts and structured follow-up according to KTH´s maturity model. The training program has been developed with new moduls as sustainability and capital. The merger with Växjö Linnaeus Science Park has entailed changes but also strengthened the incubator in the long term. Collaboration with regional actors has been deepened and the project has led to planned and unexpected positive results.
