Purpose and goal

The project Innovate Passion has tested and developed a method for innovation that effectively increase the innovation capacity in the civil society. Focus has been the neglected and female dominated horse industry, which faces big challenges in handling a system transformation without support from other sectors. Innovate Passion has a distinct norm critical approach and are based on the power in the passion of the sport and the horse. The project has resulted in a full method to increase the innovation capacity that easily can be implemented in the civil society.

Expected results and effects

The project has resulted in a new thinking and norm critical method that increases the innovation capacity in the horse industry and can easily be implemented in other parts of the civil society. Innovate Passion has added new individuals into the innovation system and created a number of vital ideas for new products and services. With effective communication, the project has got a lot of attention in media, which increases the knowledge of innovation, changed attitude towards tech, innovation and entrepreneurship and effect the interest for participating in innovation.

Planned approach and implementation

In a pre-study the basic challenges where established such as strong traditions and norms, hierarchic structures, high degree of homogeneity, low capacity to change, lack of cooperation and thresholds for tech, entrepreneurship and innovation. A method was formed, based on these challenges, that outlined possible solutions, which was tested with a series of experimental workshops and analysis. The method where adjusted and further developed during the process, in cooperation with the participants of the project who highly contributed to the work and had real impact on the result.
