Purpose and goal
The project´miljövänlig isocyanatfri polyuretaner was successful in developing key business contacts and the early adoption of the core technology offered by Cyclicor AB. All the project goals were completed, including: 1) Developing a formal business plan that could be used to attract financing in the next 6-18 months. 2) To present the core technology to the top three polyurethane and polyurethane coatings manufacturers in Europe. 3) To test the current service and licensing business model on one polyurethane coatings manufacturer.
Results and expected effects
The project was successful in strengthening the company s project pipeline in the short to medium term, as well as putting in place a key customer project and case study that could be leveraged for proof of business model, and thus used to generate further business opportunities in the future.
Approach and implementation
The first phase of the project, carried out between 2013-06-14 and 2013-09-14, was successful in focusing on business development activities to prepare for and promote the core technology of Cyclicor both in Sweden and to large global customers and other potential partners. The second phase of the project, carried out between 2013-09-15 and 2013-12-15, was successful in building relations and testing the business model on one customer, thus putting in place a critical non-commercial early adopter case.
