Energy efficient Navigation for heavy vehicles

Purpose and goal

Utilising both road attribute data that are currently available, demonstrate the effects on the environment of delivering this data to large vehicle on-board navigation systems to enable Green Routing. Clarify the relationships between the different participants in the data assembly, delivery and payment processes. Prepare recommendations on how Green Routing for large vehicles can be implemented in Sweden, Europe and globally. To secure participation in the project by all members, a global perspective must to be taken.
