Electrochromic smart windows for lower energy consumption and improved indoor climate

Purpose and goal

Investigate Chromogenics´ developed electrochromic film, ConverLightTM, so that it can be used in window construction. ConverLightTM has dynamic transparency, which means that it can control the light transmittance with a voltage. You can avoid sunscreens such as marquis and get a good comfort and energy efficiency. The study aims to evaluate the technical performance of the current window prototype and modify the product for it to be commercially viable. In the first stage there will be focus on the Swedish market, but in the long run, there is great potential to sell outside of Sweden.
