Purpose and goal
The project aims to launch a new product and solution for the propulsion of small boats. The company has developed an electric outboard motor which is based on technology FPD (Fluke Propulsion Device) where todays conventional propulsion of a propeller is replaced by a fin. According to the companys own tests the efficiency will be significantly higher by our method of propulsion than with traditional technology. The original idea comes from nature where a dolphin can move at a speeds of 35 knots with an energy equivalent to one horsepower.
