Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to create an education in standardization, accreditation and intellectual property rights for students at colleges and universities. This is to increase knowledge about these substances and in the long run strengthen Sweden as an export nation. We can proudly say that we are on target with creating a digital education in standardization, accreditation and intellectual property. Thanks to the fact that we chose to create a completely digital education, it automatically became more adaptable and it also lives up to directives on accessibility.

Expected long term effects

We are already receiving positive feedback about the education, but since the target group is students, no immediate effect is expected. By extension, the expected effect is a significantly higher level of knowledge in the areas of standards, intellectual property rights and accreditation, especially among Sweden´s current and future innovation actors.

Approach and implementation

Right from the start, we realized that we would have to bring in expertise in both pedagogy and technology. In the project group itself, we had the expertise around our topics, but we needed resources to help bring all the knowledge into an educational format and help with a pedagogically correct approach. Finally, we also needed to place the education on an easily accessible digital platform. Thanks to competent learning management consultants, we were able to progress step by step in a very strategic way. Now, thanks to Vinnova, the education is freely available!
