Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project was to develop a first version of a tool (www.edqu.se) for helping students, teachers and school leaders better understand and improve school results through advanced digital tests that measure knowledge and skills. The goal of the project was to complete a first beta version of the tool during the autumn of 2014. The goal has been met. During the autumn the first version of EdQu has been completed and we now have both paying customers and strong growth.

Results and expected effects

The first version of the tool has been completed and tested thoroughly during the autumn of 2014. Users (students, teachers and school leaders) at the first pilot schools have been very positive towards EdQu. Students experience a better understanding of what they know and how to learn more. Teachers experience time savings and a way to better adapt teaching for their students needs. School leaders experience better insight into how their schools are developing and how they can improve performance even more.

Approach and implementation

The tool has been developed in close cooperation with a few chosen pilot schools. The first beta version was released in august when schools started. We have, based on feedback from end users (students, teachers and school leaders), continuously developed and improved the tool. This development process has worked well as it has lead to quick feedback from end users. We have thus been able to develop a great product in short time.
