Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to develop a functioning IT system for contract follow-up, primarily aimed at contracting authorities. Private companies can also use the system. The goal was to build the IT environment within the framework of the project that will enable the follow-up of all types of agreements. The development has gone according to plan and the planned module has been developed in a separate environment. Through own funding, the module will be integrated into Decimal´s purchasing system and be available on the market from March 2022.

Expected long term effects

Results are surprisingly good. The system enables follow-up of not only the quantitative but also the qualitative conditions, such as delivery quality, delivery security and environmental conditions. The solution gives the entire public sector an opportunity to start following up their agreements in a satisfactory manner. The follow-up can be done safely and with very good precision, with great savings of both time and money. With the system to be launched in March 2022, an infinite number of customers can follow an infinite number of agreements.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into six (6) work packages. During period one (1) objective and system requirements were developed, during period two (2) description, useful scripts, data, models for algorithms and test models were produced, during period three (3) the coding of the system began. During period four (4), the coded version was evaluated on the basis of the set criteria. During period five (5), the system was further developed based on the results from the evaluation. During the last period, the system was finaly corrected and five (5) pilot customers were offered to test the system.
