Important results from the project
A new approach to durable design of wood constructions outdoors above ground has been developed within the WoodWisdom-Net project WoodExter. The approach is based on a similar approach as used in structural design. The aim with the project is to organize seminars in order to inform architects, specifiers about the achievements regarding design of wood constructions with respect to durability and service life. The project is expected to increase the awareness of the importance of paying attention to durability issues when building with wood in a more systematic way than before.
