Reference number
Coordinator RISE RESEARCH INSTITUTES OF SWEDEN AB - RISE AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 10 000 000
Project duration September 2013 - December 2014
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The aim of the project was to develop a common offer from the RISE institutes in order to increase the usage of their testbeds- and demonstrationsfacilities (ToD) The goal was particularly aimed at increasing the usage by SMEs and universities at the ToD. The development project brought together a unify offer for the usage of RISE ToD that was further developed and integrated as a joint offer supported by a separate pilot project.

Results and expected effects

The project has identified obstacles for national and international marketing of the services and possibilities in order to increase the usage of the ToD within the institutes. The project has developed a common way to communicate the offer between the RISE institutes and externally to SMEs and universities. The project has also developed a process for a customerbased offer, clarify the IPR handling, identified finance models within the ToDs and created tools for usage and experience based exchange

Approach and implementation

The project was split into 8 work packages, with one participant from each institute group participating in each work package. This setup has been the pre-requisite for the learningprocess between the different institutets and creaded a learningprocess and competence exchange on how best to make use of the ToD. A close cooperation with the pilotproject has also been a prerequisite for the success of the RISE ToD project
