Development of key components for a surface treatment process

Reference number
Coordinator InvenTech Europe AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 1 500 000
Project duration November 2012 - July 2015
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project is to develop a coating process that has the potential to revolutionize an industrial process. The more specific objective of this project was to get a few (two) key components in place in a function prototype. This objective has during the course of the project been met.

Expected results and effects

The EUREKA project has strongly contributed to that Inventech is now capable of presenting a working functional prototype of the product. One major effect of this result is that it is now possible to for future financiers of the project demonstrate the entire product and its capabilities in full. Furthermore, as an effect of the working prototype, the commoditization process will now be intensified.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was implemented within a larger project organization, as part of the so called ITC project. Activities have been posted in accordance with the project plan in the application. Continuous contact with the partner has worked satisfactorily. The total budget has been kept, but the distribution between the different records has shifted slightly, so that in particular wage costs have taken a larger part than forecast.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
