Reference number
Coordinator Osstell AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 616 000
Project duration November 2013 - October 2014
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project is to develop a new probe for imporved measurement that visulise the direction of the implant vibration due to degree of stabilisation. - Design prototype based on magnetic excitation and detection. Fulfilled - Realistic size and function suitable for a commersial application. Fulfilled - Concept optimization and evaluation similar to clinical use. Fulfilled

Results and expected effects

Most likely will the results from the project be used within a commersial product. The advantage of the improved measurement method will gain understanding of the clinical result.
