Purpose and goal

The project aims to strengthen Dalarna’s innovation capacity by developing more sustainable and internationally competitive startups. Through business coaching, idea validation, and initiatives for sustainability, internationalization, and fundraising, more entrepreneurs will receive support to grow. The focus is on increased inclusion and sustainability, as well as ensuring that more companies contribute to solutions for global challenges.

Expected effects and result

The project aims to generate more sustainable and innovative startups in Dalarna with a higher degree of internationalization and access to capital. Through a well-structured selection process, business coaching, fundraising, and access to strategic networks, more ideas will be developed into growth companies. A focus on sustainability, circular business models, and AI-driven innovations strengthens the region’s competitiveness and contributes to a more resilient and future-proof business sector

Planned approach and implementation

The project is implemented through a structured incubator process, where startups are admitted via a well-structured selection process. Business coaching, fundraising, and internationalization are core components, with a particular focus on sustainability and circular business models. AI-driven innovations and digital tools are integrated to enhance growth potential. Collaboration with regional and national stakeholders ensures maximum impact and long-term development.
