Purpose and goal

The project will create a Culture and Community Fund that not only benefits community engagement and inclusion in the short term, but also builds a long-term sustainable structure to support collaboration between culture, civil society, business, industry and the public sector. The model will contribute to increased social benefit, strengthened regional attractiveness and create better conditions for skills supply and sustainable development.

Expected effects and result

The project aims to establish an innovative model for a Culture and Society Fund through practical testing. Through calls for proposals, cases and collaborations, different forms of collaboration will be tested. The result includes the design of a fund, communication plan, website, newsletter and a consortium that drives the fund forward. The final report contains analysis, impact measurement and competence support.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is led by Luleå municipality in collaboration with business, culture and the public sector and includes communication, fund structure, cases with culture, knowledge support and dialogue with companies. Through workshops, calls for proposals, digital solutions and analyses, a model for a Culture and Community Fund is developed. Results are disseminated via reports, films and seminars.
