Important results from the project
The overall objective of the project has been achieved by a plan for KTH Impact Work has been developed for further support in the organization. Through the project, Impact as perspectives of management by objectives and follow-up work of the operation initiated. The project has strengthened the KTH international exchange of knowledge on Impact and engagement with society. Knowledge exchange has contributed to knowledge to KTH´s development, but also to other actors linked to the Swedish university system.
Expected long term effects
The project has captured the experiences of KTH´Impact and engagement with society´ together with an international exchange of knowledge and the results of KTH´s RAE2012. This has been a stable platform to develop a comprehensive plan for KTH Impact Work. There has been close cooperation between the responsibilities of research and collaboration, which contributes to a holistic approach that societal and academic impact are interrelated and reinforce each other. KTH continues after Impact 2.0 work through the Project Impact 3C.
Approach and implementation
A steering committee, with overall responsibility for the project, has been composed of vice-rector for research and Vice-Rector for collaboration. A central project team has held together the project , this has consisted of four people from the business. Each person in this group have had the main responsibility for one of the four perspectives that project worked with, ie the knowledge triangle + international exchange of knowledge. The set-up has meant a strong connection to senior management and a wide knowledge for a preparation for transition to line operations.
