Purpose and goal

The project aims to create the conditions for enhanced Swedish participation in the EU´s data areas. Through increased cooperation between the various data areas, we want to have a national collection of forces that can create effects and values beyond what a single effort can achieve. The project shall assist with support in collaborating and making available collaboration, exchange of experience, joint work and learning between the data areas on Sweden´s data portal.

Expected effects and result

The benefit includes improved efficiency and coordination for actors in data areas. Goals: - Efficient and increased cooperation between actors, improved communication - Identified and published tools on Sweden´s data portal - Documented good examples from ongoing data areas (including available AI solutions), conducted analyzes and published content about data areas. - Identified relevant initiatives, analyzed synergies and documented collaborations.

Planned approach and implementation

The work is divided into four work packages which are carried out with the following activities: - Cooperation between actors with the objective to contribute to the European data areas, including exchange of experience and dissemination of information. - Identify and publish tools and support. - In-depth analysis of a number of data areas based on existing experiences. - Mapping of Swedish and European initiatives, strategies, regulations and guidelines to understand what data areas relate to.
