Important results from the project
We failed with our first beta version of the app that became too complex and have not managed to reach the objective of a successful launch of the service during the project. On the other hand, we are 100% convinced that we have identified a clear and strong need of the target group, defined how this need is to be satisfied in a scalable, equal and personalized way and validated the design of the product with the target group through interviews and a quantitative market survey.
Expected long term effects
We have not launched the service yet but we have conducted a market survey to validate the product´s relevance to the target group. Over half, 52%, of the respondents state that they are interested in the proposed digital service (app), which indicates that of the target group, which amounts to approx. 300,000 Swedes per year, more than 50% have a great interest in using the We Are Co service. Market research that we have carried out was answered by a total of 578 validated respondents representative of Sweden´s population in terms of age, gender, education and geographic residence.
Approach and implementation
We have continuously worked experimentally with user-centered methodology and developed our insights and concepts based on the data and feedback we have received from dialogues and workshops with target groups and experts as well as by taking part in existing research. We built, among other things, a "fictitious" care room to be able to test different prototypes and concepts and conduct interviews. We feel completely convinced that we have found a product strategy that will meet the needs of the target group and that the product will be scalable, equal and personalized.
