Project duration September 2022 - June 2025
Status Completed
Venture The transformation of civil society

Important results from the project

The project has laid a solid foundation for more children to complete school. The knowledge of mission work and what is required in the future for change is found within civil society and among responsible actors. There is an increased understanding that school alone cannot create equality. A concrete development of the project is Västra Götalandsregionens effort 2025–2027 on outcome-based work for an equal chance to complete school.

Expected long term effects

In the long term, we see that it will be natural and completely obvious to work together to achieve more far-reaching results. We already know today what is required for a change and going forward we will have new tools and conditions for analysis, follow-up and learning. This will raise the quality of the work with children and young people in school and outside.

Approach and implementation

The coordination team has functioned as a unifying force that directs, mobilizes, coordinates and ensures learning in the mission work. We have tested and disseminated knowledge about the working method through training, production of films and a landing page. We have also disseminated knowledge about why things look the way they do and have been involved in taking initiatives for new knowledge. In parallel, we have worked with visualization to keep the mission and direction alive for many.
