Call | Planning grant for international proposal 2025 |
Purpose and goal
The aim is to prepare a competitive Horizon Europe proposal focused on optimizing ATMP manufacturing. The objective is to coordinate a strong international consortium and develop a complete application targeting the replacement of human donor tissue with 3D-printed scaffolds for the production of personalized vascular grafts, ready for clinical trial at the end of the main project.
Expected effects and result
The outcome of the planning project is a finalized Horizon Europe proposal. Long-term, the main project is expected to deliver a cost-efficient, scalable, and sustainable ATMP manufacturing process. This will enable faster patient access to advanced therapies and reduce dependence on donor tissue. The project will reinforce EU leadership in next-generation cell and tissue-based treatments.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is coordinated by RISE, supported by VERIGRAFT and the University of Skövde. Activities include project planning, budget coordination, partner meetings, and joint drafting of the proposal. The work involves around 25 participants from 12 confirmed organizations. The main deliverable is a complete Horizon Europe proposal submitted
