Purpose and goal

A novel drug screening system based on baker´s yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae was developed. This includes protein-protein interaction based biosensors used for high throughput drug screening.

Expected results and effects

A high-throughput screening pipeline for discovery of novel drugs was established and applied.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was structured into several work packages including the development of synthetic biology tools, high-throughput screenings and data analysis. In case of delays within the project mitigations strategies were followed.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
